CERIMED

CERIMED (European Centre for Research in Medical Imaging) is a project of an european center of excellence for the development of molecular imaging technologies. The goal of this project is to develop a new generation of imaging detectors that would allow a non-invasive assessment of the accurate identity card of major diseases like cancers, Alzheimer, Parkinson, etc. Their early detection, the follow-up of their treatment, as well as fundamental clinical or biological research will be made easier, faster and cheaper by the use of these high performance instruments, which will integrate new technologies developed in other fields of science and engineering.

The main objective of CERIMED is the creation and promotion of a multidisciplinary community working in the field of medical imaging and involving medical doctors, biologists, chemists, physicists and industry representatives.
